Brown Eyed Girl is a 2019 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 Maestro Version, Hull #6 based at Nanny Cay Marina on Tortola.

Fountaine Pajot briefed that their aim for the Astréa was to apply all their expertise to achieve an exciting benchmark with the dynamic design of the new 42' yacht, and plenty of excitement under sail, and refined comforts aboard.

The Astréa 42 has been awarded the prestigious “Best Multihull of the Year Awards” by the French Magazines “Le Monde du Multicoque” and “Voile Magazine”.   

Aboard Brown Eyed Girl the helm station equipped with full Garmin navigation instruments affords good control systems and sail handling, with easy access to the boom, and includes a double helm seat, and integrated rooftop lounge deck with sunbeds.

The forward cockpit is ideal for exciting sailing, sunbathing on the sunbeds and trampoline, or lounging with a sundowner.

The spacious cockpit under the broad roof includes comfortable seating at the table, a beverage refrigerator, and the wide saloon entrance provides for good communication and movement from interior/exterior to the helm and astern.

At the stern Brown Eyed Girl features the electric dinghy lift & beach club swim platform, as well as the gas BBQ for lots of outdoor enjoyment.

The interior of Brown Eyed Girl is well ventilated when opened up, or when preferred, passenger comfort is assured with the generator and full air conditioning throughout the saloon and all three cabins.

The bright well ventilated saloon with skylight and sweeping panoramic views includes deep comfortable seating around the dining table, and a forward facing chart station with full instruments.

The U-shaped galley to port in the saloon offers lots of countertop work space, plenty of refrigerator and freezer capacity, and all the amenities for comfortable food prep while remaining in good communication with others in the saloon and cockpit. 

Brown Eyed Girl is laid out with the entire starboard hull dedicated to the private Maestro cabin featuring a queen island berth aft, a desk and storage areas amidships, a separate compartment with electric flush head, and a forward ensuite bathroom with generous contemporary vanity and walk-in shower.

The port hull provides another island queen berth cabin aft and a full berth cabin forward, each with an ensuite bathroom with electric flush head, with a central shared shower.
